This summer, from July 1 to 11, 2026, the luxurious expedition megayacht Swan Minerva will set sail on a Far Eastern cruise tracing the path of Vitus Bering. The expedition will journey to where the uninhabited volcanic Commander Islands are scattered like beads in the ocean. Where sea otters and fur seals share the shore with seagulls, and where Aleutian myths live on in the lines of boats and carvings of whalebone. Travellers will discover Anadyr — a white dot at the edge of the map — and the vast Chukotka coast: landscapes where humans are merely guests and eternity is the true inhabitant.

Expedition members will follow in Bering’s footsteps, land on uninhabited islands, and observe the daily lives of brown bears, reindeer, whales, sea otters, and walruses. They will sail in Zodiacs along fjords and basalt cliffs and stay aboard the expedition vessel SH Minerva, featuring panoramic balconies, an open pool, and a fine-dining restaurant.

The headliners of the journey — titled “The Bering Odyssey” — are the popular travel show host Dmitry Krylov, the writer Evgeny Grishkovets, the singer Alena Sviridova, and a team of scientists including biologists, ornithologists, historians, ecologists, and Arctic guides.
