Mangusta Yachts reports the sale of the third Oceano 52
Italian shipyard Mangusta Yachts begins construction of the third hull in the successful Oceano 52 series.
The buyer is a repeat client of the Mangusta brand who needed a larger vessel for cruising the Mediterranean. The 52 m superyacht project was developed by Overmarine Group's in-house engineering team in close collaboration with Monaco-based designer Alberto Mancini. Building on the experience gained from the smaller Oceano series models, this largest iteration introduces a unique layout concept known as "a deck above the rest", which delivers an amount of space equal to a 60 m yacht within the 500 GT volume limit.

Designed as a flexible platform, the Oceano 52 offers extensive customisation. The owner of the third hull has chosen an exclusive layout across every deck. The master suite will feature a bespoke configuration with 180-degree panoramic views and direct access to a private terrace with an infinity pool. Two guest cabins will be located forward on the main deck, while the remaining accommodations, including a full-beam VIP suite, will occupy the lower deck.

The main entertainment hub on board will be the nearly 9 m long, multi-level beach club. It will be equipped with fold-down terraces and a pool positioned directly at the waterline to create a seamless connection with the sea.

Mangusta Yachts Sales Manager Ivan Adžić notes: "The sale of three Mangusta Oceano 52 yachts in record time demonstrates the incredible appeal of an innovative project capable of transcending the traditional boundaries of the sub-500 GT segment. This yacht offers owners a lifestyle, volumes, and amenities typically found on much larger vessels."
Delivery of the third Mangusta Oceano 52 hull is scheduled for 2028.
