Many of the cars boast an exceptional racing pedigree and hold significant value as masterpieces of industrial design and engineering. Once Bernie Ecclestone acquired a rare vehicle, he typically kept it away from public view, enjoying his purchase only in the company of close friends. A total of 69 cars are now up for sale, either as a single collection or individually. Among the most valuable are the first Ferrari to win a Formula 1 race and championship-winning cars driven by Michael Schumacher, Niki Lauda, and Mike Hawthorn. The collection also includes the iconic "fan car," the Brabham BT46B. The entire collection is estimated to be worth at least $400 million.
"I love all my cars, but it's time to think about what will happen to them when I'm no longer here. That's why I've decided to sell them," the 94-year-old Ecclestone stated. The sale is being handled by the company of renowned British rare car dealer Tom Hartley Jr.
