A dream come true on the shore: soft white sand, turquoise waters, coconut palms, vibrant coral reefs teeming with colorful fish, the largest three-bedroom villa in the Maldives, and ocean cruises aboard a luxurious 20-meter yacht.

Following its summer renovation, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is once again welcoming guests to the secluded Dhaalu Atoll. The transformation is so remarkable that it feels like an entirely new resort. The concept is built around four distinct zones: the lagoon, the beach, tropical greenery, and the coastline. These elements inspired the architects to create unique spaces that redefine luxury. Gone are the traditional thatched-roof bungalows. Instead, overwater villas resembling manta rays rise gracefully above the ocean, crafted primarily from wood. The resort’s centerpiece, Vommuli House, is designed to resemble a banyan tree, blending seamlessly into the lush greenery of the island. The Whale Bar takes the shape of a whale shark, while the library is styled like a spiraling seashell.

The most opulent accommodation, the two-story John Jacob Astor Estate, pays tribute to John Jacob Astor IV, the founder of The St. Regis. This three-bedroom mansion appears to float above the ocean, offering breathtaking views in every direction. It is the largest three-bedroom villa in the Maldives, spanning an impressive 1,540 square meters. Highlights include an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a private beach, a spa area, a cinema, and a fitness center. And with a dedicated butler ready to fulfill your every wish, this is the epitome of luxury.

The Caroline Astor Estate, named after Caroline Astor, a prominent figure in 19th-century New York society and mother of John Jacob Astor, offers a two-level retreat with its own private beach. The resort also features two-bedroom villas, ideal for small groups seeking privacy and comfort.

At The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, you can simply unwind and embrace the art of doing nothing: private pools, sun-drenched terraces, stunning sunsets, and morning swims in the ocean—what more could you need for pure bliss?

If relaxation isn’t enough, there’s no shortage of activities to keep you entertained. The PADI-certified dive center organizes excursions to coral reefs, where you can encounter manta rays, eagle rays, whale sharks, and turtles. Guests can learn windsurfing or embark on a kayaking adventure in a glass-bottom boat. At the Iridium Spa, you’ll find Ayurvedic and beauty treatments, various types of massages, acupuncture, and yoga sessions. For book lovers, the library boasts a collection of 800 books in multiple languages. And don’t miss the chance to take an ocean cruise aboard the 20-meter yacht Norma, whether during the day or under the stars.
