The 80m Kairos is one of twelve concepts developed for Oceanco by leading design firms from around the world as part of the Simply Custom range—a line of futuristic design projects based upon a unified technical platform. Each of these concepts has the potential to find a buyer and proceed to build phase.

The Italian studio, known primarily for its work with Ferrari and other top automotive manufacturers, first unveiled this concept in 2021. At that time, it was a bold design for a 90-meter asymmetric vessel featuring expansive open decks. By 2024, the project was reworked to align with the Simply Custom platform, reducing its length to 80 meters and adapting the vessel's appearance to current standards while retaining its asymmetric elements.
