Saudi Arabian developers are planning to open a luxury yacht resort on the kingdom's Sindalah Island in the Red Sea later this year. The resort is designed as part of the NEOM, a futuristic, 10-unit gigapolis that will include the linear city The Line, the hexagonal port of Oxagon and the Trojena ski cluster. The island will have a superyacht marina, a yacht club designed by the famous Italian bureau Luca Dini, responsible for the interiors of many famous superyachts, three luxury hotels, golf courses, numerous restaurants and a boutique village with more than five dozen shops. A beach club is also planned for the resort, which will offer ‘year-round premium events for a diverse audience united by the love for music and culture,’ featuring world-class musicians and DJs. Previously it was noted that Candela's hydrofoil shuttles and Regent's seagliders will be used for transport links between the island and other sites in the gigapolis.
