The restaurant 'Yunost u Morya' in the Port of Sochi plays up the theme of youth, anticipation and memories in its autumn menu. Everyone has a different taste of youth: some people first tried pan-Asian cuisine, while others remembered it as a Black Sea resort with shashliks and luljas. That is why classic Caucasian recipes are combined with exotics in the menu. Satsivi is cooked with sea bass, and lulia kebab is made of lamb with cayenne pepper. Pan-Asian dishes, developed with an input from Denis Gerega of St. Petersburg-based project Duo Asia, became a spectacular culinary accent. And what is youth without good music and dancing at sunset? DJ performances, incendiary art programmes and concerts of cover bands look exotic and cheerful in the walls of the Stalin Empire-style restaurant with Corinthian columns.
