Компания, чьи мобильные телефоны ручной сборки всегда производят фурор, представила новинки: Ascent Motorsport Limited Edition (997 экземпляров) и Ascent White Special Edition (изящная интерпретация прошлогодней Ascent Pink). Корпуса телефонов выполнены из сплава Liquidmetal, разработанного по спецзаказу, декорированы кожей, а задняя панель покрыта углеродным волокном. Для ограниченной серии Ascent Motorsport используется черная кожа, а для «специальной» Ascent White — белая.
Новые Vertu работают в трех стандартах GSM 900/1800/1900), поддерживают Bluetooth и GPRS, передают SMS- и MMS-сообщения, оснащены функциями голосового набора и записной книжкой на 1000 номеров.
