At the Cannes Yachting Festival, the European debut of the Ultima 55 motor catamaran from the Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts took place. This model expands the existing lineup, which previously included four models—66, 77, 88, and 111 feet—and is being built at the brand-new Sunreef production facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The Ultima 55 features an efficient hull design and a hydrofoil system that reduces fuel consumption during cruising. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS 800 engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of 36 knots.

Its semi-open salon seamlessly connects the interior and exterior spaces. Fold-down platforms at the stern extend the yacht’s width to 7.6 meters, transforming the deck into a perfect area for relaxation and water activities. The yacht offers accommodations that include a master cabin, a VIP cabin, and a crew cabin.

Equipped with Sunreef’s proprietary WETRA smart automation system, the yacht centralizes control of all onboard functions. In the future, the system will be enhanced with AI modules for predictive maintenance.
