Italian shipyard Baglietto has launched the ninth hull in its DOM133 series, aptly named Sui Generis, which translates from Latin as "one of a kind." Delivered last week at the La Spezia facilities, the 133-foot motor yacht stands out with its striking cobalt blue hull and superstructure, setting it apart from its predecessors.
Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, the all-aluminium yacht retains the signature features of the DOM133 series, such as spacious interiors, panoramic windows that open onto waterside terraces, and a two-level beach club with a pop-up infinity pool. However, Sui Generis introduces several bespoke elements that make it truly unique.
The interior layout has been meticulously customised to reflect the owner’s preferences. Two VIP cabins on the lower deck are separated by a sliding partition, allowing them to be converted into a second full-beam master suite. The central staircase has been redesigned to create additional space in the foyer for an art installation, while the sundeck features a custom-designed pool, adding another layer of luxury.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, Sui Generis achieves a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, ensuring smooth and efficient performance on the water.
“Sui Generis perfectly embodies the spirit of the DOM133 line,” says Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto. “It is a modern, elegant yacht with extensive customisation options, capable of meeting the most specific demands of its owner. It reflects the success of a line that has perfectly responded to the needs of an increasingly discerning market.”
The DOM133 series has proven to be immensely popular, with nine hulls sold in just three years. The first yacht in the series, Attitude, debuted in March 2022, paving the way for successive launches. Sui Generis also marks Baglietto’s seventh launch in 2025, demonstrating the shipyard’s busy and successful year.
With its bold aesthetic and innovative design, Sui Generis is a testament to Baglietto’s ability to craft highly personalised yachts that cater to the unique tastes and requirements of its clients.
