Arcadia Yachts has revealed the A80new model. The new yacht, with an overall length of 23.98 metres, is designed to comply with the new EU rules on anchoring in the Mediterranean. These have been introduced to protect the algae Posidonia oceanica, which is important for coastal ecosystems. The rules restrict anchoring of 24m+ yachts in certain areas. Violation subject to fines of up to EUR 150,000. Being a sub-24m yacht, the new Arcadia gives owners greater access to anchorages.
