Designer Jay Aberdoni has unveiled a new 80-meter superyacht concept, Standby. The yacht is part of Oceanco's Simply Custom portfolio, designed to simplify the commissioning process by offering clients a proven naval platform from Lateral Naval Architects in a variety of designs.

Its key specifications:

One of the design highlights is the bow area, which includes a helipad and a firepit lounge. The renderings also showcase a sundeck pool, a large dining table on the upper deck, and a side-opening balcony for tender pickups.

The beach club is inspired by "classic Japanese dojos," featuring tatami flooring, natural materials, and simple shapes. It includes a spa and a gym. The guest accommodation includes six guest cabins and the owner's suite.

All Simply Custom designs will be equipped with a "highly optimised" stabilisation system, pod drives, electric propulsion, and onboard battery energy storage.

Its key specifications:
- an overall length of 80 meters
- a top speed of 16.5 knots
- a volume of 2,500-2,700 GT
- plus significant customisation options for both exterior and interior designs.
