The yacht 'Dumb Ass' has been launched in the US

A ship will sail the way you name it. Apparently, the owner of this new Johnson Skylounge 93 yacht is either unaware of this proverb or is not short of self-irony. Hence the yacht's name is Dumb Ass. Being on the radio with a harbour master must be a hilarious experience for the captain.  

The 28m Dumb Ass features naval architecture by Dixon Yacht Design, and features two levels of vertical windows that offer guests 180-degree views of the ocean. The extensive beam also provides a significant increase in interior volume compared to other yachts in her class. Dumb Ass can accommodate up to eight guests in four staterooms. The master suite is located on the main deck and has a private terrace for panoramic views. The interior of the vessel is made of glossy sycamore wood combined with light colored natural stone. 

Dumb Ass is powered by twin Caterpillar C32B Acert engines and features two 65kW generators and a set of Seakeeper 35 gyro stabilisers. After delivery to her owner, Dumb Ass will cruise Florida and the Caribbean.
