Tiffany & Co. is primarily known for its diamond jewellery, but the brand also produces a line of high-end homeware. As the latest addition to the Time Objects watch collection, the house is offering the Tiffany Airways mechanical clock, styled after 1930s aircraft.
The clock together with the base weigh 3kg. It is made of stainless steel painted in the signature Tiffany Blue colour. Thanks to the skeletonised design, the elegant mechanics can be seen in detail.

The hours and minutes are indicated by two rotating steel discs in the nose of the aircraft, driven by mechanisms located in the ‘engine’, while an arrow in the cockpit indicates the current time. The aircraft is decorated with the ‘TCO’ monogram on the wing and has functioning wheels and a rotating prop.

Tiffany offers two ways to display the clock: it can be kept on its wheels or fixed on a stand to mimic the look of an aircraft in flight. The Tiffany Airways is priced at $42,000 and can only be purchased at the company's signature shop or through a client's advisor.
