Турнир Pestovo Russian Seniors Open доказал, что все это возможно. Уникальная площадка с 18-луночным чемпионским полем для гольфа и роскошным яхт-клубом собрала самых именитых и успешных гольфистов последнего десятилетия, в числе которых оказались Иэн Вуснам, один из «великой пятерки» европейского гольфа конца ХХ века, и Сэм Торрэнс, 21-кратный победитель этапов The European Tour. Владельцы яхт и катеров, не беспокоясь о пробках, успели на все главные события турнирной недели.
