On Monday, 23rd February, the Codecasa Shipyards in Viareggio held a private ceremony to launch the new 57m motor yacht, Hull F81, named LEGACY 4.
The vessel features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Propulsion is provided by two Caterpillar 3512E engines, each rated at 1,771 kW (2,375 hp) at 1,800 rpm. This configuration allows LEGACY 4 to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots at light displacement. With a fuel capacity supporting a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht is equipped for transoceanic voyages.
LEGACY 4 holds Lloyd's Register EMEA classification: ✠ 100 A1, SSC "YACHT" MONO G6 - ✠ LMC + UMS, and complies fully with the Red Ensign Group Yacht Code (Part A), confirming adherence to rigorous technical and safety standards.
The exterior design and interior layout were developed in collaboration with Architect Tommaso Spadolini. The yacht’s interior and exterior spaces are arranged to provide distinct areas for privacy and social functions. An elevator connects all decks to facilitate accessibility throughout the vessel.
Accommodations include an owner’s suite, five guest cabins, a captain’s cabin, and six twin cabins for crew, arranged to support efficient onboard service.
