Zavidovo Golf Club opens the 2025 season with a big program for the upcoming May holidays.

Spring is the time to take out your clubs. The Zavidovo Golf Club has prepared for its members and guests a rich competion programme for the whole May holidays, including a grand opening of the season and several tournaments. A championship course surrounded by the unspoilt nature of Europe's largest nature reserve, a five-star hotel and apartments, a Golf Academy, restaurants and bars and the Zavidovo by Burevestnik Group yacht-club for up to 400 boats are waiting for guests.

Opening of the 2025 season | 2 May

Tournament format: team, doubles scramble with handicap.

Tournament programme:

9:00 - Registration, warm-up, breakfast;
10:40 - Opening Ceremony;
11:00 - Simultaneous start from all holes;
17:00 - Handing in scorecards, counting of results;
18:00 - Awarding ceremony, dinner.

Moscow Cup | 5-6 May

The format of the competition is mixed (men + women) in two categories:

stroock play without handicap for handicap group 18.4 and below
Stableford with a handicap for handicap group 18.5 - 28.0.

The competition is open to:

golfers born in 2006 and older who have an active, accurate handicap value not exceeding 28.0
athletes who have reached the age of 12 years (born in 2013), if their level of sports qualification corresponds to the level of the competition
players with a higher handicap value may be admitted to the competition if there are available places.

Victory Day tournament | 9 May

Tournament format: Individual, Stableford with handicap.

Tournament programme:

9:00 - Registration, warm-up, breakfast;
10:00 - Broadcast of the Parade from Red Square;
12:40 - Opening Ceremony;
13:00 - Simultaneous start from all holes;
19:00 - Handing in the scorecards, counting the results;
20:00 - Awarding ceremony, dinner.

Family and Friends Cup Tournament | 11 May

Tournament format: Team, Individual, Stableford with a handicap

Tournament programme:

9:00 - Registration, warm-up, breakfast;
10:40 - Opening Ceremony;
11:00 - Simultaneous start from all holes;
17:00 - Handing in scorecards, counting of results;
18:00 - Award ceremony, dinner.
