Aquarius sets sail
The Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman has completed the three-year construction of this iconic sailing superyacht with a ceremonial handover to the owner. The 65.2-meter vessel, featuring classic exterior styling and naval architecture by Dykstra Naval Architects and interior design by Mark Whiteley, replaces the previous 56.18-meter Aquarius owned by the same client, now renamed Apsara. The yacht’s interior volume has increased by 45%, allowing for the addition of a fourth guest cabin and a gym, while the master suite and salon have been made more spacious. Upgrades to the integrated sail management systems and the lifting fin keel have also improved performance.
From Amsterdam, the yacht set sail for Falmouth, UK, where it will showcase its sailing capabilities this summer by participating in regattas.
