The Cranfield F1 Simulator is built using an authentic Formula 1 car mould and its interior is a faithful reproduction of real racing dashboard, steering wheel and pedals. Using patented technology used in military simulators to train fighter pilots, as well as F1 and NASCAR simulation software, the Cranfield F1 Simulator allows you to race on any of the world's scanned circuits. Technology has even allowed this simulator to include a yaw platform. It is located at the base of the car and is able to simulate the lateral movements of the rear of the car — the user will physically feel the ‘loss’ of road grip. Complete with a 55-inch screen and VR headset, the F1 simulator costs $153,548.
