В 2014 году Harley-Davidson представили миру прототип электрического мотоцикла Project Livewire. Компания предложила реальным райдерам со всего мира сесть за руль нового мотоцикла и составить свое мнение. Эта обратная связь использовалась для усовершенствования разработки новой модели – и сегодня Harley-Davidson анонсировали выпуск LiveWire. Старт продаж намечен на начало 2019-го. А к 2022 году планируется расширение модельного ряда электрических мотоциклов – легких, маневренных и способных успешно справляться с особенностями городского ландшафта.
