Спустя три года после выпуска Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 компания Jaguar Land Rover анонсирует появление нового «самого мощного, экстремального и быстрого автомобиля» – Jaguar XE SV Project 8. Прототип седана мощностью 600 л.с. уже прошел испытания в Нюрбургринге, так что в скором времени оснащенный модифицированным пятилитровым V8 с нагнетателем Jaguar XE SV Project 8 предстанет перед публикой. Всего будет выпущено 300 автомобилей, каждый из которых будет собираться вручную в Техническом центре SVO в Ковентри.
