Обновлён мировой рекорд скорости прохождения Северного морского пути под парусом. 30-метровый тримаран Qingdao-China вышел из Мурманска 3 сентября 2015 года и, как зафиксировано в бюллетене Всемирного совета по регистрации рекордов скорости под парусом (WSSRC), преодолел 1000 километров до Берингова пролива за 12 дней 3 часа 8 минут и 15 секунд. Шкипером в экипаже был китайский яхтсмен Го Чуань, а руководителем экспедиции – россиянин Сергей Низовцев. В команде были матросы из Франции и Германии.
