Arcadia A80 prepares to launch in Cannes
Arcadia Yachts has unveiled the new 24 metre motor yacht A80. The design is focused on comfort and eco-friendliness.
Arcadia Yachts has unveiled the new sub-24-meter motor yacht A80. Measuring 23.98 meters in length, this yacht is designed in accordance with new EU anchoring regulations in the Mediterranean Sea, aimed at protecting Posidonia oceanica seagrass, vital for coastal ecosystems. These regulations impose local restrictions on anchoring yachts 24 meters or longer, with fines up to 150,000 euros for violations. Since the new Arcadia is shorter, it has access to more potential anchoring spots.

The A80 continues Arcadia's commitment to sustainability. It features advanced solar panels that generate 98% more energy per square meter than those on earlier models.

The yacht includes five cabins for guests. The owner's suite is located on the main deck, while four guest cabins occupy the lower deck. All cabins offer ample natural light through large windows.

Interiors are crafted in soft neutral tones using natural materials, primarily wood, which exudes warmth and tranquility. Dimmable LED lighting allows for mood setting while improving energy efficiency.

Like other Arcadia models, the new A80 boasts extensive outdoor relaxation areas that seamlessly transition into indoor spaces. The main salon connects to a spacious aft deck with a beach area, further expanded by fold-down bulwarks.

The 80-square-meter upper deck features a multifunctional layout: a modular furniture lounge area at the stern, a dining area under the hardtop, and a private space at the bow that can transform from a dining lounge to a sun deck with a folding table and bimini.

The yacht also includes a separate garage for tenders and toys, a rarity for vessels of this size. It is powered by a pair of Volvo Penta IPS engines. According to the shipyard, at a speed of 15 knots, the A80 consumes 27% less fuel than competing yachts of similar dimensions.

The A80 will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, where it can be seen live.
