Take a moment to enjoy the view from the deck, and we’ll see you at breakfast…” The cheerful voice of the tour leader echoes through the ship’s speakers, marking the start of another unforgettable day on a Vasta Expeditions adventure.

These tours take place aboard the twin ice-class research vessels Professor Khromov and Academic Shokalskiy. Unlike traditional yachts, these ships offer greater stability, spacious interiors, and a wide range of onboard amenities. Accommodating up to 46 guests, the vessels feature five cabin categories—from “Standard” to “Luxury”—as well as two restaurants, a bar, a library, a lecture and cinema hall, a sauna, and a fully equipped medical room.



Each day of the cruise is packed with exciting activities: island landings, Zodiac cruises to sea lion and seal rookeries, treks to volcanoes, paddleboarding and kayaking in remote bays, visits to picturesque lighthouses, and fascinating lectures and workshops led by scientists and reserve specialists. And, of course, there’s no shortage of unforgettable moments and breathtaking scenery.
