В 1961 году архитектор Кристиан Готеро, художник-декоратор Ив Куэслан и художник Десмонд Нокс Лит открыли бутик предметов интерьера на парижском бульваре Сен-Жермен. Среди них были ароматические свечи, которые и принесли всемирную славу их марке Diptyque. Парфюмерная линия появилась позже. Шестьдесят лет спустя Diptyque представляет коллекцию посуды, аксессуаров и, конечно же, подсвечников. Их расписывали известные художники из разных стран мира. Также ограниченным тиражом будут выпущены свечи с ароматами Baies и Tuberuse.
