Custom Line Navetta 33: pleasure island

When you marvel at the sunrise and sunset as if it’s the first time, wave to dolphins and fishermen returning with their catch, and let the sound of waves and the cries of seagulls soothe your soul, you want to share this lightness of being with your loved ones. The Custom Line Navetta 33 is perfect for such moments. Not just perfect — it was made for them.

Nine orders in nine months before the official launch. You don’t need to be a seasoned business mogul to sense the financial potential of the Custom Line Navetta 33. Yet, for the nine clients who decided to make this yacht a part of their lives after merely glancing at renderings and reading its specifications, it evokes entirely different sensations: the citrus groves of Sicily, the fishing villages and tavernas of the Cyclades, the blooming jasmine and fig trees along the Tuscan coast, the cedar and juniper forests of Turkey’s shores, and the salty sea breeze of the entire Mediterranean.

The debut of this masterpiece, embodying a true Mediterranean love for life at sea, wasn’t held at some bustling yacht show filled with noise, chaos, and frantic brokers. Instead, it took place on the island of indulgence, Ibiza, during an exclusive event for the brand’s most devoted fans, aptly named Midsummer Dream.

The Navetta 33 is the result of a collaborative effort by the Project Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari; the engineering department of the Ferretti Group, which designed the interiors; and the family-run design studio Studio Zuccon International Project, responsible for the yacht’s exterior.

The “33” effortlessly combines elegance, harmonious proportions, and the architectural simplicity reminiscent of a Mediterranean palazzo. Inside, it offers minimalist décor, the highest quality materials and finishes, and an abundance of space, light, and air, much like a premium-class modern beach villa. But no villa—or even a palazzo—can be in the right place at the right time with the right people onboard. After all, the true luxury of any yacht lies in the ability to choose your view.

The underwater hull design builds upon the concepts introduced with the Navetta 37. The bow features a bulb that enhances seaworthiness, stability, and fuel efficiency. At cruising speed, the yacht can travel up to 1,850 nautical miles without refuelling.
“In the world, there’s now a little more beauty,” begins the understated press release about the Navetta 33. But it’s far from “a little”: the yacht offers its owner and guests four decks, one of which boasts one of the largest sundecks in its class. The captain, meanwhile, enjoys an unprecedented luxury for a yacht of this size—a private cabin adjacent to the helm station.

One of the key advantages of the Navetta line is the extensive opportunities to optimise its generous spaces. The open decks can host anything from lively dances to intimate dinners. You can continue the evening in the main salon by sliding open the glass doors to connect it seamlessly with the aft cockpit, creating an impressive party space. At anchor, this area expands further with a wide fold-down balcony. The upper deck can be configured as an enclosed dining room or a cinema or left open for more party space or an alfresco dining table. The bow features another fully equipped relaxation area with a sofa, table, and sunbathing platform, all shaded by a retractable carbon-fibre canopy. This secluded corner is perfect for relaxing away from prying eyes when the yacht is stern-moored.

The lower deck could theoretically accommodate five cabins, but Custom Line opted for four, reasoning that fewer cabins would allow for more spacious accommodations.
As a result, guests enjoy three double cabins and one twin, all with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets, and large windows. The owner’s luxurious full-beam master suite is located at the bow of the main deck.

All new Custom Line Navetta yachts are equipped with the VOTIS infotainment system, allowing owners and guests to control it via their smartphones and tablets. Complementing this is the Kerio network controller, which supports two independent Wi-Fi networks—one for owners and guests and another for the crew—or a single network with doubled bandwidth.
The owner of the first hull, Telli, commissioned a specially adapted, advanced audiovisual system for the yacht. James Loudspeaker systems are used in the outdoor areas, while K-Array and Sonance provide sound in the cabins and salons. The installation and tuning of the audio systems were carried out with direct involvement from Custom Line engineers, ensuring the speakers blend seamlessly into the interior while delivering crystal-clear, immersive sound.

However, the primary contributor to acoustic comfort aboard the Navetta 33 is its next-generation soundproofing and vibration isolation, originally developed for the Navetta 37 and now implemented on the 33. In addition to state-of-the-art insulation materials and fillers in the bulkheads, the yacht features a “floating” floor that prevents transmission noise, footsteps, and conversations from reaching guest areas. The transmission system uses Wulkan vibration-damping couplings, while the exhaust system includes high-efficiency silencers. All of this makes the Navetta one of the quietest and most comfortable yachts in its size category, as confirmed by its Comfort Class certification. As for stability, the yacht is equipped with two types of stabilisers—electro-hydraulic fins and Seakeeper gyroscopes—to minimise rolling.

Another signature feature of the new Custom Line yachts, implemented on the Navetta 33, is the patented Dual Mode Transom by Ferretti Group. This innovative transom can open upwards for tender launching or downwards to create a spacious swim platform. The garage accommodates a 5-metre dinghy and a jet ski.

The integrated bridge by Teamitalia includes five monitors, two of which are touchscreen, as well as a wide central screen and a virtual keyboard. Full integration of all controls and customisable display configurations ensure maximum convenience and ease of operation for the captain. Wide windows also provide excellent visibility.

Every detail of the Navetta 33, from its efficient hull and advanced stabilisation system to its ergonomic helm station and cosy, tactile interiors, fulfils its purpose as a true vessel for extended voyages rather than mere coastal cruises. Wherever you choose to go on this yacht, it becomes your own 33-metre island of pleasure, with views that only you decide. What more could one dream of?
