First Itama 70 launched in Ravenna
Ferretti Group shipyard in Ravenna completed the construction and launch of the first hull of the new Itama 40 motor yacht.
The first Itama 70 entered the water on May 21 at Ferretti Group’s new production site in Marina di Ravenna. The ceremony was attended by the owner and his family.
The 21.23 m yacht has a beam of 5.30 m. Exterior styling is by Vallicelli Design, interiors by IdeaeItalia. The hull features side windows running its full length.
The main deck includes a stern beach area capable of launching a 3.25 m tender. The U-shaped dining area has a teak-topped table opposite the wet bar. The helm station on the port side is equipped with two 16‑inch chartplotter displays.
The lower deck contains three cabins, all with en suite bathrooms, plus a corner galley and a dinette.
The first unit is fitted with two MAN V12 engines of 1,550 hp each, delivering a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary). The yacht is equipped with a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabilizer.
