Imagine an evening reception unfolding on board the new Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super. What greets invited guests, what remains discreetly reserved for the owner, and what precisely elevates this yacht to “Super” status?

The setting is a Mediterranean resort at golden hour. Guests in impeccably tailored Neapolitan suits and flowing evening gowns step lightly from the pier onto the expansive platform. The warm glow of waterfront lanterns shimmers on diamonds and crystal flutes filled with a chilled aperitif. The mood is effortless; the promise of the night, unmistakable.

The first impression on board is the exemplary beach club. Spanning 35 square meters — a surface comparable to the sundeck of a 25-metre yacht — it surpasses many competitors in its class. Positioned just above the waterline, the platform invites guests to slip into the sea as naturally as they would step across a threshold and to return just as gracefully after a refreshing swim.

A refined innovation — first introduced on the '82 Diva and now standard — comes in the form of elegant fold-down bulwarks that transform into generous side terraces. With them deployed, the beach club expands to an impressive 59 square metres. Barefoot on sun-warmed teak, one feels suspended between sky and sea, embraced by openness and light. During an evening gathering, space is never in short supply: some guests linger by the water, others ascend to the cockpit above.

At the heart of the platform rests a vast snow-white sunbed. Beneath it, a spacious garage accommodates both a Williams 565 RIB and a Sea-Doo jet ski side by side. In a naturally ventilated compartment aft, two Seabobs are secured and ready — silent invitations to tomorrow’s adventures.

“Dolcevita remains the embodiment of timeless design: twelve years after her debut, she still aligns seamlessly with contemporary expectations. The redesigned stern lends a more modern expression and enhances the yacht’s overall balance, refining both function and aesthetics,” note Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, authors of every Riva exterior and interior.

The 24-metre cockpit on the main deck is conceived as an elegant lounge. On the first hull — unveiled in Cannes and Monaco — the owner selected two modular RODA For You sofas, freestanding furnishings, and a bespoke bar counter with sink, refrigerator, and ice maker. A third manoeuvring station can be discreetly installed upon request. Access to the engine room has been cleverly relocated to the starboard passageway, preserving both practicality and guest privacy.

Forward, the bow becomes a sanctuary of seclusion. A sweeping semicircular sofa frames a generous sunbathing area above the fender locker. Owners may opt for a jacuzzi discreetly concealed beneath a sliding sunpad — a private indulgence revealed only when desired.

The 60-square-metre flybridge is an elevated world unto itself. Deep RODA For You sofas create an open-air salon defined not by walls, but by refined carbon-and-wood lifelines that preserve uninterrupted views. The space may be customised as a dance floor, wellness area, or left gloriously open for sunset gatherings.

At its centre, a dining area revolves around an American-style bar stretching over four metres, crowned with a Corian countertop. Equipped with a refrigerator, optional ice maker, grill, and a concealed lifting TV, it effortlessly transitions from daytime refreshment station to cinematic lounge under the stars.

Opposite, a fixed dining table with a polished stainless-steel base may be finished in painted teak or lustrous mahogany, as chosen for the first hull. A U-shaped sofa invites lingering alfresco lunches that extend unhurriedly into the afternoon.

Above, a sculpted carbon-fibre hardtop shelters the helm and lounge without compromising the yacht’s profile. Its fluid lines enhance rather than interrupt the silhouette — a hallmark of thoughtful Italian design.

Descending once more to the main deck, guests enter a salon conceived for refined socialising. Exceeding 50 square metres, with ceilings rising to 2.25 metres, the space feels luminous and expansive thanks to panoramic glazing and mirrored accents.

Polished rosewood, supple brown leather, and light-toned fabrics compose an interior symphony of contrast and harmony. Through the windows, evening coastlines — Venice, Tivat, Bodrum — become part of the décor.

The first hull introduces an unconventional configuration: upon entering, one encounters the dining area before the lounge. An elegant glass-topped Judd table by Acerbis, surrounded by leather chairs from MDF Italia, serves as both a functional centrepiece and an artistic statement — a tribute to minimalist master Donald Judd and a signature of Officina Italiana Design.

Beyond, the living area unfolds around a black Poliform coffee table and three Poltrona Frau sofas. A 75-inch television framed in polished steel anchors the room, offering cinematic immersion when desired.

A discreet starboard door ensures seamless crew circulation between the galley, wheelhouse, and service areas, preserving the serenity of guest spaces.

The galley — approximately 9 square metres — is a study in immaculate white. Corian worktops, a transformable island table, a wine fridge, a dishwasher, an induction cooktop, an oven, and premium Miele appliances (with a Samsung dual-compartment refrigerator) provide restaurant-level capability.

The raised wheelhouse offers three technological configurations, from four 15-inch Hatteland monitors to an advanced setup with two 49-inch Böning displays — the latter selected for the inaugural yacht. Correspondingly, flybridge screens expand up to 24 inches in the premium versions.

Forward on the main deck lies the 34-square-metre master suite — a private domain of understated opulence. Two walk-in wardrobes flank the entrance; a black-leather vanity with a Minotti pouffe introduces a palette of contrast. The aft-facing bed, upholstered in black leather, becomes the suite’s sculptural focal point. The en-suite bathroom, finished in Emperador Light or Calacatta marble, features twin sinks and a spacious shower with an integrated bench.

Below deck, four guest cabins — two VIP aft and two forward, one with Pullman berths — ensure exceptional comfort, each with en-suite facilities and finishes echoing the master suite’s rosewood and leather aesthetic. Enhanced sound insulation and anti-vibration flooring guarantee remarkable quiet at cruising speed.

The 27-square-metre crew quarters include a generous mess and three cabins — one for the captain and two doubles — with direct access to the galley and wheelhouse for seamless service.

Performance matches refinement. Twin MTU 16V 2000 engines, each delivering 2,638 horsepower, propel the yacht to a top speed of 25.5 knots (M96L), with comfortable cruising at 23 knots. For owners mindful of environmental responsibility, the M97L version complies with IMO III and EPA III standards, incorporating an SCR system to reduce emissions. Sleipner stabilisers and Hydrotab interceptors come standard, with optional Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilisers enhancing onboard comfort.

Perfectly proportioned and meticulously engineered, the Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super embodies contemporary luxury afloat — a yacht destined not merely to arrive in harbour but to define it as the epicentre of refined social life.
