The 39 m yacht, christened Effe, is an evolution of the AB 125 series and the AB 120 Beach model, integrating AB’s signature design language with fresh ideas for outdoor living and performance.

A key feature of Effe is her innovative, expandable beach club. The twin stern wings deploy to create a 100+ sqm terrace right at the water’s edge—a standout in her size range. This beach area flows directly into the aft cockpit and the 50-square-metre main saloon, creating an excellent indoor-outdoor space designed for socialising, dining, or unwinding. The saloon onboard the superyacht offers floor-to-ceiling windows for 360-degree sea views and an “open-roof” configuration that invites guests to dine under the stars.

An adjustable sea-view pool on the aft deck adds to the appeal, with the ability to cover or uncover the pool as needed. The flybridge offers another alfresco area for relaxing or entertaining, further enhancing the yacht’s outdoor lifestyle focus.

Effe’s floating garage can house a 4.6-metre tender, two Jet Skis, Seabobs, and inflatable toys, ensuring plenty of options for watersports and fun on the water. The floodable design of the garage streamlines launch and retrieval, making it an efficient addition to the active, on-the-water ethos of the yacht.

Effe has been fully customised inside to suit her owners’ preferences. The design offers a flexible layout that can accommodate both large social gatherings and more intimate, private moments. AB Yachts’ in-house team worked closely with the owners of the motor yacht, described as experienced yachtspeople who had a clear vision for the yacht’s functionality and aesthetic.

The yacht’s sporty lines and aggressive stance are matched by impressive performance figures: powered by triple MTU engines and waterjet propulsion, she reaches speeds exceeding 40 knots and maintains a cruising range of 450 nautical miles at 35 knots. A shallow draught of just 1.3 metres enhances her versatility, making her equally capable of anchoring close to shore or gliding at high speed across open water.

Another recent achievement of AB Yachts is the launch of the fourth AB 80, which touched the water on May 19. The 25.4 m yacht is capable of easily exceeding speeds of 55 knots. Tailored for owners who prefer hands-on piloting, it combines top-tier comfort with cutting-edge onboard technology. This launch signifies the first yacht delivered from the historic Viareggio shipyard, now the Group’s new headquarters. Both of the Group’s main facilities are undergoing extensive renovations: the Headquarters, which now triples production capacity and includes outfitting processes and offices, and the ‘AB Yachts & Maiora Deck Lounge’, a perfect venue for welcoming clients and accommodating up to seven yachts from both ranges afloat.
