The Tankoa Yachts shipyard has conducted the technical launch of the first hull of the new T55 Sportiva model. The yacht, named Rose and measuring 55 meters in LOA, was designed by Luca Dini and Piero Lissoni and features a so-called Nemo lounge—a semi-submersed observation saloon with windows below the waterline.

The hull of the T55 is made of steel, while the superstructure is constructed from aluminum. Its gross tonnage is below 500 GT. The design is focused on the aft deck, which serves as the main relaxation area, featuring a spacious beach club with a pool and a wellness space behind glass doors.

The first hull includes four guest cabins on the lower deck, but the design also allows for a six-cabin layout with five guest cabins on the lower deck. The owner's suite, complete with a private terrace and outdoor jacuzzi, is located on the main deck.

For launching small toys, there is a hatch on the port side. Tenders and a jet ski are stored on the foredeck.

The T55 Sportiva can be equipped with a hybrid propulsion system. The maximum speed of the Sportiva 55 is 16.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots. The estimated range at 12 knots is 3,800 nautical miles. The vessel's premiere will take place at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2025.
