Italian shipyard Benetti unveiled new details and renders of the 85-meter yacht Project Life at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. This is the largest yacht ever built by the company, based on a new engineering platform. The concept for Project Life was first introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023.

The interior and exterior design of the yacht were crafted by François Zuretti and Espen Øino, marking the first collaboration between Benetti and the Norwegian designer. The yacht was designed with a focus on outdoor living, perfectly aligning with its name. "We spend almost all of our time on the deck," Øino explained. "However, not all yachts prioritize this aspect. The larger the yacht, the harder it becomes to keep guests close to the water."

One of the standout features of Project Life is its 270-square-meter beach area, equipped with fold-down terraces and a spacious swim platform that connects guests directly to the sea. The beach club is illuminated by natural light streaming through the glass-bottomed pool located on the main deck above.

The yacht offers six cabins, including the owner’s suite. The owner’s area includes a private lounge, a 98-square-meter bedroom, and a versatile third room that can be used as a personal office or a hobby space.

For the interior, Zuretti emphasized natural lighting and soft, flowing lines to create a sense of harmony and comfort. “We aimed to blur the boundaries between the interior and the exterior,” explained Sébastien Gay, CEO of Zuretti Design. Other key areas include an alfresco dining area with an open kitchen on the aft of the bridge deck, as well as the upper foredeck, which features a helipad, a Jacuzzi, and luxurious lounging spaces.

The yacht is equipped with an optimized hull, a diesel-electric power system running on HVO, and integrated hybrid solar panels. These panels capture solar and thermal energy to power tenders, water toys, and other onboard systems.
