S520: new 52m Tankoa project

Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts unveiled the design for its new 52-meter superyacht at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. The S520 is an evolution of the popular S501 series, showcasing increased dimensions, enhanced technical features, and an innovative approach to design.



Highlights of the S520:

• Split-level beach club: The aft section of the yacht features an open two-level beach area with fold-out platforms providing direct access to the water. The upper level offers a lounge with sunbeds, a bar, and a relaxation area, while the lower level houses a transparent swimming pool. 
• Expanded outdoor spaces: The sundeck includes an infinity pool, a dining area, and a spacious sunbathing deck. 

• Focus on practicality: Practical features include an integrated tender crane in the bow, a gangway built into the swim platform, and offset port-side stairs that create additional relaxation space. The forward section of the upper deck is reserved for storing water toys. 
• Modern interiors: Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini designed minimalist interiors using natural materials and a light color palette. High ceilings and panoramic windows enhance the sense of space and provide abundant natural light. 
• Technical specifications: the yacht is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, ensuring eco-friendliness, low noise levels, and high energy efficiency. It boasts a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
