The renowned Italian shipyard AB Yachts (a brand of Next Yacht Group) has expanded its lineup with a new addition—the AB 110 featuring an "S" in its name, which stands for Sport.
The design of this model was developed in collaboration with the Turin-based EXE Design studio, which incorporated numerous ideas from automotive design. The 33.7-meter yacht’s exterior draws clear inspiration from supercars. AB Yachts’ signature wedge-shaped silhouette, combined with dagger-like windows in the hull, echoes the design language of Lamborghini supercars. The hull, constructed using a "sandwich" technique with fiberglass and carbon fiber, features variable geometry that enhances planing performance and allows the yacht to cut through waves effortlessly.
The performance is equally impressive: powered by three MAN V12X-2200 engines paired with two adjustable water jets and a central booster water jet, the AB 110S can reach a remarkable 48 knots.
One of the standout innovations is the mobile hardtop on the flybridge. At high speeds, to maintain the aerodynamic integrity of the hull, the hardtop folds flush with the foredeck sunbathing area. At lower speeds or while at anchor, the roof rises like a convertible and can even slide forward or backward on movable side supports, providing shade to different areas of the flybridge.

The lower deck features four cabins: a full-beam master suite amidships, a VIP cabin in the bow, and two guest cabins with sliding beds that can be configured as either doubles or twins, offering flexibility in layout.
The standard AB 110 distinguishes itself from the sport version by its reverse-angled windows in the wheelhouse. This unique design element gives the yacht a bold personality while improving visibility from the helm. The reverse angle also reduces glare and limits sunlight entering the interior, minimizing heat buildup. Additionally, this feature highlights a key difference in the yacht’s design—a longer and therefore more spacious flybridge.
The AB 110 is not just about speed but also offers top-tier comfort. The yacht is equipped with Seakeeper SK26 gyroscopic stabilizers, which significantly reduce rolling both at anchor and while underway. The hull design incorporates numerous solutions aimed at reducing weight while enhancing sound and vibration insulation, ensuring a smooth and quiet experience on board.
