The engine surpasses its predecessor in power but falls short in torque (850 Nm at 2250 rpm compared to 900 Nm at just 1500 rpm). The designers have lightened the body of the new version and improved weight distribution across the axles. As a result, acceleration to 100 km/h now takes only 3.4 seconds (down from 3.9), and the top speed has increased from 306 to 310 km/h. The Bentley Bentayga Speed now features an all-wheel steering system for a sharper handling.
In addition to the familiar Comfort and Bentley modes, a new Sport mode has been added. In this mode, the suspension stiffens by 15%, and the steering becomes heavier. Carbon-ceramic brakes are available as an option. The stabilization system now includes a Dynamic mode, which allows for deep drifts, and it also enables a full-fledged launch control.
For those who enjoy making a loud statement at the start, the exhaust system with two oval tailpipes is sure to please, or you can opt for the Akrapovic titanium exhaust system with four outlets.
