Emotional, After You

Damen Yachting has delivered two expedition yachts to their owner — the 60-meter Xplorer 60, named After You, and its 53-meter support vessel, Emotional.

Both yachts will be available for charter through a major brokerage firm as part of an ambitious global circumnavigation planned by the owner. This means they will visit some of the most fascinating corners of the world’s oceans.

After You is the first hull in the series, which was first unveiled in September 2021 under the name SeaXplorer 60. The exterior was designed by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture, while the naval architecture was handled by Damen Yachting’s in-house team. The interiors were created by the British studio H2 Yacht Design. After You accommodates up to 12 guests and 17 crew members.

Supporting the main yacht is the 53-meter Emotional, a member of the Yacht Support series and the third of its kind, following Five Oceans and Bad Company Support. The shadow vessel enhances the capabilities of the primary yacht by providing additional space for crew, storage of toys, helicopter operations, and cargo transport. Its gross tonnage is just under 500 GT, with a top speed of 19 knots.

Both explorers were constructed at Damen Yachting’s new production facilities in Antalya, with their launch taking place in March of this year. Meanwhile, the Dutch shipyard is currently working on three additional superyacht projects, the largest of which — measuring 75.2 meters — is scheduled for delivery next year.
