06 march 2025
Strictly speaking, the concept of the Lontano explorer yacht was first unveiled in 2021 as a conversion project for an X-Bow supply vessel. However, it has now been decided to build the Lontano from scratch. Brythonic Yachts promises that the yacht could be launched within three years. Additionally, the vessel’s length has increased from the original 78 meters to 89 meters. The yacht will be constructed from Lloyds Grade A steel and equipped with a pair of turbines delivering 4,500 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The outdoor areas are designed for relaxation, featuring a beach club, gym, swimming pool, spa, and a helipad. The interiors, which include cabins for the owner and ten guests, will be designed by the studio Bassan & Benedetti.
