Navigation in the North begins at the very end of April, giving you plenty of time to plan your routes. The options are endless—so many natural wonders and historical landmarks await if you take the helm of your boat on Lake Ladoga! Valaam, skerries, romantic islands, the Shlisselburg Fortress, the Svir River—the rest is limited only by your imagination, energy, and free time.

It’s impossible to see everything in just one trip. Plus, the breathtaking northern landscapes are so captivating that you’ll undoubtedly want to return. The best solution? Dock your yacht or boat at a comfortable marina on the lake, turning it into your headquarters, and visit whenever the opportunity arises.

The Laguna Yacht Club is located on Cape Mayachny in Priozersk, on the western shore of Ladoga. While the lake is known for its temperamental nature, the club’s waters are fully sheltered from winds and storms. Getting there is hassle-free, as the club offers transportation services for boats both by land and water.

The Laguna Yacht Club accommodates yachts and boats up to 45 meters in length with a draft of up to 4 meters. A convenient slipway allows you to launch or haul your boat out of the water on your own. If needed, the shore crew is available to assist with mooring. The club also offers transportation of vessels both by water and by land. The administration building is well-equipped with storage lockers, changing rooms with private showers, a self-service laundry with washers and dryers, and a relaxation area with panoramic views of the marina. The club ensures 24/7 security for your boats along with video surveillance.

For accommodations, you can stay just a ten-minute leisurely walk through a pine forest at the “Tochka na Karte. Priozersk” hotel. The hotel and its studios are seamlessly integrated into the forest, with panoramic windows that blend the interiors with the surrounding nature, and architecture that harmonizes with the landscape outside. The project adheres to the principle of maximum unity with nature and minimal impact on it. To fully embrace the romance of the evenings, head to the Wine Lounge on the sandy shores of Lake Ladoga. The hotel’s restaurant is ranked 14th in the “50 Best Tastes of Russia” list in the category of “Best Destination for Gastronomic Tourism in Russia.”

Fishing season on Lake Ladoga runs from late April to mid-November. You can catch whitefish, pike, salmon, smelt, vendace, perch, and zander. There’s no need to bring your own fishing gear—everything you need, from rods to equipment, is available at the reception of “Tochka na Karte. Priozersk.” You can grill your catch on-site using the barbecue pavilions or cook it over coals. However, the fish is so fresh you might skip the grilling altogether and try sugudai, a traditional raw fish dish that’s considered one of the best snacks in the world. For true food enthusiasts, the chefs can prepare a creamy Karelian fish soup for an unforgettable dining experience.

The Laguna Yacht Club is part of the “Quality Mark” loyalty program, which offers discounts at the Igora resort, the Winter’s Dacha park hotel, restaurants, and the Leningrad Center show space. Most notably, the program also includes all four “Tochka na Karte” hotels. The other three hotels are located in Sortavala, Lodeynoye Pole, and Vidlytsa, making them a convenient option for those planning a multi-day itinerary around the lake.
