The shores of the Gulf of Oman offer warmth year-round, crystal-clear seas, and consistently good winds. In November, air temperatures range from +28°C to +30°C, while water temperatures vary between +23°C and +28°C. Training here requires no wetsuits and comes without the fear of capsizing. This country boasts sandy dunes that transition into mangrove forests, with black cliffs plunging directly into the sea. The transparent waters are home to thriving coral reefs and colorful fish that many have dreamed of seeing up close.

Oman’s marinas are fully equipped international-level sports facilities. Olympic qualifiers have been held here, and in 2025, Oman will host the Asia and Oceania Championship in the Optimist class.

"Sila Vetra" has arranged yacht docking at the modern Al Mouj Marina, which is protected by a reliable breakwater from waves. Beyond the marina lies open water, where the main training sessions and races will take place.

The conditions of the aquatic area make it possible for athletes of all levels, from beginners to professionals, to participate. Instructors will ensure participants are grouped according to their skills.

Training sessions are conducted on "Lasers"—lightweight and dynamic single-handed yachts. These yachts are ideal for beginners as they are easy to rig, adjust, and allow for quick learning about sail mechanics. However, mastering and racing on these boats can be an endless challenge, offering plenty of opportunities for experienced sailors to refine their skills.

Accommodation is planned at the Mysk Al Mouj Hotel, which operates on an all-inclusive basis and is located just two minutes from the marina (the yachts can be seen from the hotel windows).

The camp runs for six days. Five of these are dedicated to honing techniques, competitions, lectures on sailing, and reviews of past training sessions. The program is engaging but won’t take up the entire day, leaving time for the beach and snorkeling. If desired, additional sailing hours can be arranged.

One day is reserved for exploring the country. "Sila Vetra" has prepared an exciting excursion program to ensure participants not only recover after sailing but also truly experience the spirit of Oman: walking through deserted canyons, witnessing pink sunsets over the mountains, and exploring the country’s top attractions.
