Aquazzura unveils its latest capsule collection in collaboration with the Joali resort on the island of Muravandhoo in the Maldives. This exquisite collection draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of the Maldives and the resort's renowned contemporary art collection, capturing the essence of paradise.

The Italian fashion house has infused every detail of this collection with the spirit of the tropics: vibrant sunset hues, delicate ocean wave gradients, and textures reminiscent of sandy beaches. The designs exude a sense of lightness and elegance, perfectly suited for those who cherish sophistication and dream of eternal summer. The collection features elegant beach sandals and a clutch, both designed with meticulous attention to detail.

Edgardo Osorio, founder and creative director of Aquazzura, sought to express his love for the sea, sun, and diving. The white leather sandals and clutch are adorned with intricate bead embroidery depicting serene natural motifs. The clutch, in particular, showcases an image of Joali’s iconic jetty, shaped like a manta ray.

“I began diving in the Maldives a few years ago and was immediately captivated by the vibrant nature and stunning colours of its coral reefs,” said Edgardo Osorio. “During a recent visit to JOALI Maldives, I was enchanted by the resort’s beautiful architecture, exceptional service, and wellness rituals. As a devoted admirer of the sun and the sea, I decided to collaborate with JOALI Maldives to create something special, culminating in the exclusive launch of the first Aquazzura pop-up in the Maldives.”

In addition to these fashion accessories, guests at Joali’s boutique can discover the stylish Aquazzura Casa homeware collection. The Secret Garden line takes inspiration from 18th-century Chinese porcelain, featuring lush green and blue tones with delicate floral and fauna patterns.

This collaboration is a celebration of artistry, craftsmanship, and the serene beauty of the Maldives, offering a seamless blend of fashion, nature, and modern luxury.
