Porsche has unveiled the latest version of the 911 Carrera S, positioned as the perfect bridge between the standard 911 Carrera and the high-performance 911 Carrera GTS.
Under the hood, the sports car boasts an updated 3.0-liter flat-six engine with twin turbochargers, now delivering 353 kW (473 horsepower) and 390 lb-ft of torque—nearly 30 hp more than its predecessor. This power boost is thanks to redesigned turbochargers and improved intake air cooling. Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), the new engine propels the Carrera S from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and achieves a top speed of over 300 km/h.
To help tame this beast, the car is equipped with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) and brakes borrowed from the previous-generation Carrera GTS, featuring 408 mm discs at the front and 380 mm at the rear. For even greater stopping power, buyers can opt for ceramic composite brakes (PCCB) and a rear-axle steering system.
Inside, the Carrera S delivers a balance of performance and luxury. The cabin features premium black leather upholstery on the seats, dashboard, and door panels. Optional upgrades extend the leather trim and add Crayon-colored contrast stitching. Modern conveniences include matrix LED headlights, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and optional features like the Sport Chrono package and a front-axle lift system.
