Van der Valk has unveiled the interior design for the second EDGE 65 yacht, created by Carla Guilhem Design. The new hull is currently under construction at the Van der Valk shipyard in Waalwijk, Netherlands.

Carla Guilhem’s interior design features a modern aesthetic, incorporating light-filled spaces with grey and black tones. According to the designer, the focus was on creating a harmonious and minimalist environment. Guilhem noted that the new EDGE 65 retains the dynamic qualities of the model while introducing a reimagined interior.

The layout of the salon has been redesigned to enhance its suitability for family use. Fully opening doors connect the main salon to a fold-out platform spanning 48 square meters, which provides ample space for relaxation and entertainment. The yacht’s interior is designed to accommodate both short day trips and overnight cruises.

The EDGE 65 is powered by four Mercury V12 Verado outboard engines, delivering a top speed of up to 40 knots. Its shallow draft makes it ideal for navigating shallow or remote waters. With the hull still under construction, future owners have the opportunity to customise the yacht’s exterior finishes.

Yachting previously reported on the first EDGE 65 hull.
