The 44mm diameter watch case is crafted in 18ct white gold and features classic Breguet fluted bands and straight soldered lugs, screw-lock pushers, and a sapphire crystal caseback. The guilloche dial, also in gold, is decorated with the Clous de Paris pattern. The elegant hands are rhodium-plated.

In most watches with a chronograph function, the movement of the latter is connected to the main movement by means of a coupling or other means. This results in generating friction, loss of amplitude, and a lowered power reserve. With the Breguet 7077, on the other hand, the chronograph is completely independent and autonomous. It is equipped with the manual winding calibre 580DR and innovative mechanics, including two separate gear trains, oscillators, and springs, to ensure precise timekeeping and chronograph operation. The watch has a 55-hour power reserve for the main timekeeping and a 20-minute power reserve for the chronograph.
