Sergey Brin (Google) has been named as the likely buyer of Lürssen's Project Ali Baba, a $450 million luxury superyacht. The 9,400 GT vessel can accommodate 24 guests in 12 cabins and will be crewed by a 45-person crew. The four-deck yacht was designed by German Frers and the interior by Nauta Design.

The yacht has a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. According to Luxury Launches with reference to The Yacht Report, the original owner who conceived the build was unable to take possession of the megayacht due to sanctions, so the project was put up for sale. Ali Baba is not Breen's first yacht. The entrepreneur also owns Dragonfly, Butterfly and Firefly. Wonder what name he will choose for his new acquisition, judging by the fact that all his boats have the «-fly» in their names.
