Columbus Yachts, a Palumbo Superyachts brand, has started the construction of the second hull of the Columbus Atlantique 37 series at the shipyard in Savona. The new 37m semi-displacement superyacht will be built entirely in aluminium, with exterior and interior design by Hot Lab and engineering done by the yard.

The exterior lines are described as ‘clean and elegant, with a sporty style’ and the hull contours are reminiscent of traditional sailing yachts. The vessel has a gross tonnage of 299 GT. The interior features four double cabins on the lower deck and a master suite forward on the main deck with access to a fixed private terrace.

There will be an outdoor swimming pool just 50cm above the water in the main deck aft. The yacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots thanks to two MAN engines of 2,000 hp each. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2027. The previous hull is also under construction and is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
