The Hyperion company from California is ready to present the production version of the hydrogen-powered hypercar XP-1. In development for ten years, the electric car promises to outshine all existing electric cars. Its declared range is 1600 kilometers (more than 1000 miles). Two electric motors drive all four wheels. Energy for them is produced by fuel cells, and hydrogen is stored in a special carbon tank, which can withstand a gunshot. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 2.2 seconds and top speed is 356 km/h. Hyperion XP-1 will be super light by the standards of electric vehicles: its weight will be within 1250 kilograms thanks to the carbon and titanium body.
