The Naim×Mu-so sound system, a special edition for Bentley cars, has been released in a second-generation version. For the first time, wood has been used in the construction of a wireless player: the outer casing is made from the hardwood triplochiton (or abashi) tree from tropical Africa. Among a number of improvements are optimized speakers (midrange and woofer), clearer and more powerful bass output, a new multi-core digital signal processor, and an improved Wi-Fi transmitter capable of 2.4 and 5 Gb/s streaming speed. Complementing the player are Radiance headphones with a finish in the spirit of the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar concept car. Their case is made of aluminum, pads and rims are wrapped in genuine leather, and copper details and diamond-shaped patterns serve as decor. The speaker is priced at $2,100 and the headphones at $1,299.
