Швейцарская мануфактура Uhrwerk выпустила в продажу настольные атомные часы Urwerk AMC за 2,7 млн долларов. Urwerk AMC состоят из двух устройств: собственно настольных атомных часов и механического наручного хронометра. Атомные часы весом 35 кг с осциллятором из иттрия и рубидия отвечают за точный отсчет времени, подзавод и синхронизацию механических часов с эталонным временем. Погрешность Urwerk AMC не превышает одной секунды в 110 000 лет, в случае отключения электричества встроенный источник питания обеспечит работу устройства в течение 80 часов.
