На прошедшем в октябре часовом аукционе Phillips был установлен рекорд стоимости лота. Впервые за всю историю торгов наручные часы были проданы за рекордную сумму в 17 752 500 $. Лотом, навсегда вошедшим в историю аукционных торгов, стали наручные часы Пола Ньюмана, легендарные Rolex "Paul Newman" Daytona, Ref. 6239. Именно эти часы дали название самой престижной версии часов Daytona. Модель с гравировкой "Drive Carefully, Me" была подарена актеру и гонщику его женой, Джоан Вудворд.
