Решение о включении номинантов в список принималось на основе проведенных тестов, собственного опыта издателей и читателей журналов и посетителей интернет-сайта. В состав жюри входят крупнейшие представители RYA (Royal Yachtin Association), BMF (British Marine Federation) и YJA (Yachting Journalists Association). Вручение премий Marine Awards состоится в Лондоне 6 января 2006 г.
