Charles Leclerc — Riva 102’ Corsaro Super Sedici
In 2026, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc took delivery of the custom-built high-speed motor yacht Sedici — the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, measuring 30.24 metres in length. The yacht features Riva’s signature style with an emphasis on contemporary Italian minimalism. The interior incorporates furniture and solutions from Minotti and Poliform, with a palette built around light natural materials and open spaces. The layout is designed for comfortable onboard living. The flybridge features a lounge area, bar, and an open-air dining space, while the main deck’s aft section is equipped with a beach club featuring a transforming swim platform at water level.
The yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, delivering a top speed of approximately 30 knots. This is not Charles Leclerc’s first yacht — the Monaco-based driver is a long-time fan of the Riva brand and has previously owned models such as the Diva, Ribelle, and Dolceriva.
The connection between Riva and Ferrari goes back a long way. The shipyard is a partner of the Maranello racing team, and Enzo Ferrari’s son, Piero, long served on the board of directors of the Ferretti Group, leading the group’s Product Strategy Committee. Back in the 1990s, Riva produced a limited series of Riva Ferrari 32 sports boats, powered by twin 390 hp Vulcano V8 petrol engines and finished in Ferrari’s signature bright red. Ferrari, for its part, recently unveiled its own project: a racing sailing yacht equipped with hydrofoils.

Fernando Alonso — Sunreef 60 Power Eco
Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, now racing for Aston Martin, became one of the most notable owners of an eco-friendly yacht after taking delivery of a custom Sunreef 60 Power Eco motor catamaran in 2023. The project stands out for its extensive integration of solar panels built into the hull, superstructure, and hardtop. The energy system is supplemented by high-capacity battery banks, minimising the use of diesel generators while at anchor or manoeuvring at low speed.
The catamaran’s wide hull provides significant interior volume and excellent stability. Onboard, there are spacious lounges, open decks for relaxation, and an owner’s suite with panoramic glazing. Special attention was paid to reducing noise and vibration levels during operation. Fernando Alonso was actively involved in the construction and customisation of his luxury catamaran, visiting the Gdańsk shipyard on multiple occasions.
Max Verstappen — Mangusta GranSport 33 "Unleash the Lion"
Max Verstappen, who races for Red Bull Racing, owns the 33-metre Mangusta GranSport 33 Unleash the Lion, built by the Overmarine Group. The model belongs to the fast displacement yachts range, combining sporty performance with comfortable cruising capabilities over medium distances. A key feature of the project is its Volvo Penta IPS system — a rare solution for yachts of this size. This configuration delivers improved manoeuvrability, reduced vibration, and greater fuel efficiency compared to traditional shaft lines. The exterior design focuses on outdoor living: ample sunbathing areas, a well-appointed beach club, and a large forward deck with a pool.
George Russell — Pershing 6X
British driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, George Russell, chose one of the most iconic models in the Italian brand Pershing’s fleet: the 6X. This 62-foot sports yacht reaches speeds of up to 48 knots thanks to two Top System surface drives with semi-submerged propellers. It perfectly suits Russell’s fast-paced lifestyle, allowing the F1 star, his girlfriend, and their friends to cruise between the South of France, Italy, and Corsica in just a few hours.

Adrian Newey — Oyster 885
Legendary Formula 1 car designer Adrian Newey owns a custom Oyster 885 sailing yacht, in whose design he was directly involved. Newey's 27-metre yacht is built for extended ocean cruising, combining high seaworthiness with autonomy. It is equipped with solar panels, an enlarged swimming platform, twin rudders, a carbon rig, and a lifting keel.
Bernie Ecclestone — Force Blue, Petara, and Va Bene
Former Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone has owned several notable superyachts over the years.
Force Blue
The 63-metre Force Blue was acquired by Ecclestone in 2021. Its previous owner was his long-time friend Flavio Briatore, one of Formula 1’s most famous managers (it was Briatore who lured a promising Michael Schumacher from Jordan to Benetton, setting him on his rapid rise to fame). Force Blue accommodates 12 guests and a crew of 19. Highlights include a full spa complex, a cinema, a beach club, professional DJ equipment, and party facilities. After refits, the yacht was made available for charter.
Petara
The 58-metre Petara was built in 2005 by the Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise (now Turquoise Yachts). The project featured a transatlantic range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles, spacious owner’s quarters, and a large garage for tenders and toys.
Va Bene
Before acquiring Petara, Ecclestone owned the 48-metre superyacht Va Bene, later sold to Eric Clapton.
Lawrence Stroll — Feadship Faith
Canadian businessman Lawrence Stroll, owner of the Aston Martin Formula One Team, acquired a new hybrid superyacht, the 80-metre Feadship Faith, in 2025. It replaces Stroll’s previous 96-metre yacht of the same name. A key factor in the project’s development was the ability to access the Mediterranean’s more compact marinas.
